Yamaha Xeon - Despite getting a new challenger in the 125cc class skutik, Surya Setiawan Marketing Department Head 2W Indomobil Suzuki Motor admitted to not worry about going eroded its market.
"Indonesia's motorcycle market is still quite large, skutik market trend is still attractive," said Setiawan.
Until the first quarter-2010, sales of Suzuki's third skutik contributed a total 42 012 units or 36.13% of total sales for Suzuki until March 2010 some 116 295 units.
Suzuki got a new challenge from Yamaha. Because, Yamaha issued a new type skutik, namely Yamaha 125cc-engined Xeon. Xeon will be faced with another player that has already raced 125cc skutik market, namely Sky Drive, Sky Wave, and Spin. All three outputs Suzuki.
