Yamaha Scorpio - Having previously invited journalists to test Byson in Sentul, Yamaha is now planning to demonstrate and test the newest face of Scorpio on 21 September. After that both Yamaha motor sport will be launched simultaneously.
The plan of PT Yamaha Motor Kencana Indonesia (YMKI) will perform the official launch of two new products in the sports segment in the region of Mount Bromo, East Java.
"Both will be launched simultaneously in Bromo on 25-26 September," said PR & Corporate Communication Head YMKI Indra Dwi Sunda to detikOto on Thursday (16/09/2010).
"There we will play in an outdoor all full durability testing of both," said Indra.
Besides would invite the media for this ceremonial event, the launch of two products according to follow-Indra will include community members Yamaha motorcycle users in several regions in Indonesia.
"The plan will have 500 children who will join the club. They come from various areas in Java and Jambi," he said.
New Scorpio itself is a supreme Yamaha motor sport that its design will be overhauled by YMKI but still carrying the 225 cc engine-powered 19 ps diputara 8000 rpm with torque at 6500 rpm kgf.m 1.86.
While Byson is a new family of Yamaha sport bike segment. This motor uses the same platform with a V-Ixion with 153 cc engine but it carries a different model that is street fighter. Motor is expected to be released with a price of USD 19.9 million.
